Latest update. 3 Jan '12
Posted on Jan 3rd, 2012
Robert Fogelman has formally withdrawn from consideration by the Town his application for a Conditional Use Permit for a Convenience Store with gasoline sales to be located on 1.68 +/-acres located in Area C-1 of Wolf River Ranch PD (northwest corner of Byhalia Road and Wolf River Blvd. intersection). This is not a deferral/continuance, but a withdrawal. This action on his part means two things:· the application will not proceed to the BMA (there is no more application as it has been withdrawn); and· for any use proposed for Area C-1 of Wolf River Ranch PD that would require a “Conditional Use Permit” (including a Convenience Store/gasoline sales), a new application (with exhibits and applicable fees) would need to be submitted (by Fogelman or anyone else with the authority to file an application for that property) for staff review and a recommendation by the Planning Commission per the published deadlines and checklists published on the Town’s website. Uses permitted “by right” in Area C-1 will be reviewed according to the Town’s site plan processes.

Culpepper Place assisted living complex
Posted on Dec 15th, 2011
Culpepper Place is an assisted living complex planned to be developed in Area C-2 on the southwest corner of Wolf River Boulevard and Byhalia Road. The Public Notice was sent November 14, 2011. Attached is a picture of an assisted living facility by Culpepper Place. Based on this design, we are concerned the architectural design needs to be modified to better blend in with our homes and home values. We would like the residents to form their own opinion and be aware of the Public Notices for the developments in our surrounding area.

Collierville 2040 -- A vision for your hometown
Posted on Sep 9th, 2011
September 19th – 22nd will be weeklong intensive public planning sessions for Collierville 2040: A vision for your hometown
The Collierville 2040 Project was launched in August 2011 for the purpose of updating the Collierville Land Use Plan that was adopted in 2001. The Land Use Plan is a document formally adopted by the Town, based on public input, that addresses community characteristics such as land use, transportation, the community’s vision and guiding principles, economic development, environmental protection, desired levels of service, and next steps or tasks to implement the adopted Land Use Plan. A steering committee was formed by Mayor Joyner in September 2011 to provide guidance to the Town’s Planning Division by helping answer the following question: “What should Collierville be like in 2040?”
